Tools
Standalone C++ solver that reduces dense sampled animation to sparse editable keyframes inside an explicit error budget: scalar, vector, spatial and path data.
bbsolver: Fewer keys, same motion
A standalone C++ solver, and the public core of bakerBoy. It reads dense evaluated samples from a host application and writes back sparse key bundles that stay inside an error budget.
It handles scalar, vector, separated-position, motion-path and Shape Path flows, including fixed and variable topology. The normal solve path only accepts an output when the reconstructed values stay within the configured property-unit or screen-pixel tolerance. It also emits progress, diagnostics, cancellation and verification output.
Turning sampled motion from any host (After Effects, Rive tooling, Lottie pipelines) back into editable keyframes.
Free, MIT licensed, public: github.com/ivg-design/bbsolver. v1.0.0 2026-05-25, v1.0.1 2026-05-28. An arXiv manuscript and reproducibility artifact exist.
C++ with dynamic-programming key placement, nonlinear segment fitting, oneTBB parallelism and FlatBuffers schemas.
