Opal Security / Identiverse booth / 2026
Two touchscreen booth games for Opal Security at Identiverse in Las Vegas: a penalty-shootout game where Paladin enforces access policy against rogue identities, and an arcade boxing match against user access reviews.
My role: Game design and development, Rive character animation, kiosk UI
Delivered: Two portrait kiosk web games with a shared leaderboard and lead database, an admin console, an on-screen keyboard and animated Rive goalies
Tools: Rive, TypeScript, React (TanStack Start), Lovable, Vercel
Opal wanted its booth to pull people in with a game that still carried the product message. Every kick in the Opal Identity Cup enforces an access policy while rogue identities defend the net. Players go through waves of access-review chaos up to an AI-agent onslaught, with quiz and message banks between rounds. The second game, Knock UAR SOX Off, is a three-round arcade brawler against user access reviews.
Both games started from Lovable projects. I took them over and built them out: shot sequencing with a testbed, goalie coverage made fair, animated Rive goalies, fireworks, and the choreography of the game screens. Around the games I built an admin console with leaderboard reset, an on-screen keyboard for lead capture, and a shared database so both games feed one leaderboard. The leaderboard shows names as first name and last initial.
The games ran on portrait 1080 x 1920 kiosks, so every play screen, the keyboard and the leaderboard had to fit a 60/40 split without clipping. In the last days that meant reframing the goalkeeper so head and feet were never cut off.
The recordings show the booth game running end to end: the kick, the goal celebration with fireworks, and the quiz.
