LERP: Luau Education for Rive Professionals

What it is

A free, open-source interactive course for learning Rive Luau scripting, written for people who already know visual animation in Rive and want to move into scripting, procedural behavior and data-driven interfaces.

What it does

It teaches Luau inside Rive's own context (its APIs, protocols and production workflows) rather than as a general programming course. Each exercise is built around real scripting in the Rive editor, with real-time validation in the page.

Capabilities

Takes a motion designer from first script to node scripts, converters, layout scripts and ViewModel-driven behavior. It does not teach runtime integration (iOS, Android, web, Flutter); that stays with Rive's own runtime docs.

Exercises run in the Rive editor with scripting enabled; the content tracks the current Rive scripting API, validated against the same Rive Web/runtime line my other Luau tooling targets (see Rive Luau LSP)

Under the hood

A Docusaurus 3 site with React components for exercises, fill-in-the-blank blocks and an exercise validator, plus a separate landing page; Node 20 or later to build.
