The brief
BMC Software's US marketing team, through the Upwork Talent Group, needed visuals for software marketing (contract "Interactive Designer for Software Marketing Visuals", started 27 April 2024; contact Halley Burns). The project folder carries the Control-M web page copy, with a hero banner, key benefits and workflow orchestration messaging across data pipelines and hybrid cloud, and BMC's brand guidelines from January 2024.
The build
I explored the infographic in Illustrator: layout variants V5 to V8, with sub-variants, a custom icon sheet, and the logos of the platforms Control-M connects (Airflow, Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon S3 and EMR, Azure, Postgres, IBM DB2 and SAP among them).
The delivered experience
The project stopped at the design stage: BMC decided not to go ahead with the animation. The board below shows the eight design variants.
