A complicated story, one Lottie file.

My role: Motion design and Lottie production

Delivered: One 30-second Lottie animation (1920 x 1080, 60 fps) for the Included.ai website, plus the test versions that led to it

Tools: After Effects, Lottie (Bodymovin)

The brief

Brand Syntax needed a large, complex animation for the Included.ai website: an infographic showing how the product connects to the applicant tracking and HR systems its customers already use. The Drive folder holds logo sets for those systems and a saved reference page (PrivacyOps - Securiti).

The build

I went through ten numbered test exports, an "Included v11" and the final "Main Comp" between June 2 and June 15, 2021; the final file is dated February 2022. The first versions were image-heavy; v11 rebuilt the animation from shapes and pre-compositions, and the final version returned to the full 30 seconds with 34 pre-compositions and 123 layers. I also worked up two static pre-renders of the infographic (v1 and v2) and a DEI icon sheet before settling the approach.

The delivered experience

The final Lottie JSON is attached to this entry. Brand Syntax came back with positive feedback on the result.
