The brief

Grayson Sanders, CEO of the music rights platform Chordal, asked me to animate a set of feature showcases for the Chordal website: six in the original job, built within Chordal's own concepts and designs.

The build

Each animation walks through one feature in a simulated Chordal interface, driven by an on-screen cursor, buttons and switching content. The project's pre-rendered elements show what the scenes contain: an AI loader in the first animation, music, document and business icons in the third, a world map of connections and avatars in the fourth, a growth graph, odometer counter and progress bars in the sixth, and an envelope being stuffed with a letter in the seventh, which was added in January 2025.

The constraint

The animations had to sit on the web page without a box around them, so every one is rendered as VP9 WebM with an alpha channel, in a tall frame that fits the site's layout.

The delivered experience

The seven WebM renders were handed off with the v4.9 After Effects package between 10 and 21 January 2025. On 25 March 2025 I cut a 35-second 4K showcase of the set, which is also on my Upwork portfolio.
