CloudZone Animated Email Signature

CloudZone / Animated email signature / 2023

Motion that survives the inbox.

My role: Animation design and animated SVG export

Delivered: An animated email signature as SVG with SMIL timing, plus MP4 and GIF previews of each iteration

Tools: After Effects, SVG (SMIL), GIF export

The brief

CloudZone asked for an animated email signature (Upwork contract "Animated email signature", started 3 December 2023, contact Idan Tohami).

The build

I animated the signature in After Effects over several iterations, previewing each as MP4 and GIF, and then produced SVG versions. The SVG files animate with SMIL elements (animate, animateTransform and animateMotion) and loop indefinitely in a 1920 by 1920 viewBox.

The constraint

Email clients do not run Lottie, so the animation had to be SVG with SMIL timing rather than my usual web pipeline. The folder holds three SVG exports, dated February 2024.

The delivered experience

The SVG files and the GIF previews are in the project folder. There is no record of the signature in use or of client feedback.
