Databook — Motion System for AI-Avatar Sales Briefings
A motion graphics system for Databook's synthetic-video executive briefings: animated charts, tables, titles and transitions built around an AI avatar presenter, rendered in two brand versions.

The brief
Databook was producing sales briefings presented by a synthetic AI avatar and needed the visual layer around the presenter: data, headlines and section changes that could be re-used across briefings. I worked from Databook's Polaris 2.0 colors and fonts, its briefing scripts and its wireframes.
The build
I designed and animated the pieces a briefing is made of: an intro title, headline lists, a stock-price line graph, 2D and isometric bar charts, a recommendations table and closing branding, with the keyed avatar footage composited beside them. Sections are joined by transitions chosen from a single control in the template.
The constraint
The same briefing had to work for different accounts and brands, and with or without the avatar. Instead of separate projects, I drove the transitions and color palettes with expressions, so one template could output each version.
The delivered experience
The final renders, delivered on 20 May 2022, run just under two minutes. They show a sample briefing in two brand versions (one for a cloud-database brand, one for Microsoft), with the avatar presenting beside the charts. A second contract covered two further rounds of revisions to the presentation.
