The brief
The Flatiron Center supplied its brand guidelines and brand identity sheet (primary and secondary logos, brand icons, colours, typography) and wanted the logo animated.
The build
I rigged the logo so each letter of the wordmark is its own pre-comp, the three brand circles (dark blue, grey and light blue) are driven by controller layers, and a write-on handles the script part of the name before the "for psychotherapy" line comes in. Before the final version I ran a series of test exports exploring organic and 3D-looking motion for the circles; the final file is Flatiron_Center_Logo_VF_1.1.
The delivered experience
The final Lottie and its HTML preview are in the project folder, and a 19-second 4K render of the animation is in my reel archive.
