FUTUR NFT

FUTUR NFT / Billboard video / 2021

A billboard video, turned around in a rush.

My role: Motion graphics and video editing.

Delivered: An 8-second promo video for the FUTUR NFT collection, built around the client's 2D alien NFT artwork and a set of character panels.

Tools: After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator.

The brief

The client needed a highly reactive freelancer for a rush turnaround: a billboard-ready video featuring a 2D alien NFT, due by 4 PM EST the next day. The contract opened on 29 November 2021 and ran to 11 December.

The build

The client sent character artwork as PNGs (Drive #34, 03_Assets). The film opens on the alien logo glitching in, then cuts through character panels with green terminal-style copy: "The most exclusive club" and "The NFT of the century". My working files include pre-render passes named Logo IN, Matrix Text, 4 Slices, Flipper and Transition, which is how the glitch, text and panel moves were built and tested.

The delivered experience

The finished film is on Vimeo. The client did not leave feedback on the contract, so there is no quote.
