Work
Meet Inky
A short character piece introducing Inky, an orange octopus with blue spots, swimming through blue streaks against a black background.
Client: IVG Design
Personal study / 2021
Meet Inky.
My role: Character animation.
Delivered: A 10-second character film on Vimeo.
What it explores
Inky is an orange octopus with blue spots and wide white eyes. The film shows it in several poses, with the tentacles curling and trailing, set against a black field of blue streaks.
The delivered experience
The film sat in the Meet Inky entry of my earlier Webflow portfolio under character animation and rigging, dated 13 August 2021. I made a rigging tutorial for an octopus later the same year (see TUTORIAL - Create & Rig an Octopus).
