Delivered: 15 animated SVG preloaders for the MetaWin wordmark in six styles (glitch, left light streak, shimmer sweep, tracing underline, horizontal glow sweep and underline light sweep), on a black banner and with a transparent ground
Tools: Expressive Animator, Adobe Illustrator, SVG (SMIL)
The brief
MetaWin needed loaders built around its wordmark: light files the site can show while a minigame loads.
The build
I built them in Expressive Animator and exported them as self-contained animated SVGs (SMIL), so they play in any browser with no runtime or script. Each style came as a version on a black banner and, for most, a transparent one for placing over the site.
The delivered experience
The video shows all 15 files playing at once on black tiles, and the SVG files on this page are the delivered preloaders.
