Quantilope Presentation Particle Animation
A short particle animation for a company vision presentation, delivered as GIF, WebM and MP4 and tuned for file type and size.
Client: Quantilope
quantilope / 2023
A pitch slide that moves, within the file limit.
My role: Particle animation and export tuning for a presentation deck.
Delivered: The animation as GIF, WebM and MP4 in several versions.
Tools: After Effects.
The brief
quantilope needed a small animation for the deck of its updated company vision pitch.
The build
I built a particle animation in After Effects and exported it in several versions, as GIFs, a WebM and an MP4 ("v1.1 Ring 2"), going through successive revisions from v1 to v4.
The constraint
Slides take limited file types and sizes. The client noted I "helped to problem solve issues around file type and file size", and the Drive folder shows the same clip exported repeatedly as GIFs of different weights alongside WebM and MP4.
The delivered experience
The contract ran from 7 April to 1 May 2023. The client wrote: "Ilya was hired to create a small animation/gif for a presentation deck. Ilya was very responsive, thoughtful, and helped to problem solve issues around file type and file size. Would highly recommend."
