A feature video for Reftab's Tool Sharing feature, made as a return job a year after my first Reftab feature explainer, with a 3D saw arrival as its hero moment.

The brief
Mike Plocher at Reftab, a cloud-based asset management platform, hired me for a second feature video a year after the first. The 2023 explainer (August to November 2023) covered Reftab's loan custody flow and asset table visualizations. The 2024 job, from 15 July to 4 September, covered the new Tool Sharing feature.
The build
I built both videos in After Effects with shape-based motion graphics. For the 2024 video I reused the shape language from the first one, with Burst & Shapes pack elements, and added a 3D saw arrival as the hero element. The Drive folder holds the Tool Sharing cut in parts, an SFX master and the saw re-render.
The delivered experience
The last full renders in the folder are dated 19 to 21 August 2024. The entry carries the video, "Reftab for Construction Asset Management: Asset Tracking, Maintenance, & Tool Transfers".
