Webflow 24-Hour Hackathon: Night Cityscapes
My submission to the Webflow World Tour 2020 24-hour hackathon: a parallax Lottie night-cityscapes page, shown in an 80-second walkthrough video.
Client: IVG Design
Independent project / Webflow World Tour hackathon / 2021
Night cityscapes, in parallax.
My role: Parallax Lottie animation and Webflow build
Delivered: A Webflow page of parallax Lottie night cityscapes, submitted to the Webflow World Tour 2020 24-hour hackathon, with an 80-second video walkthrough
Tools: Webflow, Lottie
The brief
Webflow ran a 24-hour hackathon as part of Webflow World Tour 2020. My entry, "Night Cityscapes", started from a simple question in the video description: did you ever look at a photography portfolio and wonder how the city looks in real life?
The build
Parallax Lottie animations let the viewer move through a night cityscape from a different perspective than a still photograph.
The delivered experience
The submission video, uploaded on January 21, 2021, is on Vimeo.
