WorkPass homepage animation (Lottie, final)
Safari-tested final Lottie, 500×500, 60 fps, 24 s.
Work
A Lottie animation of the WorkPass homepage scene for Plume, produced through BannerTV: network health, employee and guest counts and upload/download counters around a glowing orb, later reworked into a lighter, Safari-tested final file.
BannerTV / Plume WorkPass / 2021
My role: Lottie animation and file troubleshooting
Delivered: The WorkPass homepage animation as a 500×500 Lottie file (60 fps, 24 seconds) with an HTML demo, a 2000×2000 video render, and the collected After Effects project
Tools: After Effects, Lottie (Bodymovin export)
BannerTV, working for Plume, needed one storyboard scene from a design agency, the WorkPass homepage animation, turned into a Lottie file. They supplied the Illustrator files and fonts, and the schedule was tight: a first version by March 16, feedback on March 17 and final delivery on March 19, 2021.
The scene is built around a glowing orb, with WorkPass small-business insights around it: network health, three employees, 205 guests, and download and upload counters. I started with counter and sphere tests, then took the full scene through versions 1 to 2.5 at 2000×2000 and 60 fps, with the glow handled by masked layers and a glow control.
BannerTV came back in April with a second contract to troubleshoot the WorkPass Lottie. The test files from that round compare versions with and without gradient masks. The final file drops to 500×500, replaces the masked glow with one embedded, optimised orb image, and is labelled "Safari tested". I collected the After Effects project for hand-off on April 9.
The Safari-tested final is the same file that was hosted on LottieFiles for the earlier mograph.life portfolio.
> Ilya was awesome to work with. He was communicative, available to talk through feedback, took direction very well and is an excellent problem solver. He is a very skilled animator and really helped us make our client's vision a reality on a complicated Lottie animation. Looking forward to working with Ilya in the future!
