eNotaryLog / Website illustration and animation / 2022
My role: Illustration, icon design and Lottie animation for a website redesign
Delivered: Lottie animation scenes for the finance, real estate, legal, medical, automotive, security, support and eSign service pages, plus the Illustrator moodboard, icon and logo files behind them
Tools: After Effects, Lottie, Illustrator
eNotaryLog, a remote online notarization and eSignature platform based in Tampa, was redesigning its website and needed imagery that fit a new icon, logo and colour palette. Heather Payne's brief asked for illustration and animation to replace stock photography, a visual for each B2B vertical (real estate and title, legal, financial services, construction, auto, healthcare), an animation for the integrations copy, and improved versions of the Lottie animations already on the solution pages. The palette was fixed: coral, pewter and smoke, with no blues or greens and no peach.
I built a Lottie scene for each service and kept them in one visual family. The project folder holds the finished scenes for Financial, Real Estate, Legal, Medical and Automotive services, Security, Support, eSign, Enhance Digital and Remote Notary Services, alongside circuit-board backgrounds and icon work, with the moodboard, icon set and logo files in Illustrator. Most of the Lottie files date from January 2022, and the Security and Support scenes from mid to late February.
The scenes were delivered as Lottie JSON for the website. The project folder holds no rendered video, so there is no footage of the finished pages to point to here.
"Ilya was great to work with. He was very accommodating, skilled and flexible on what would or wouldn't work and the look we were wanting. I'd definitely recommend Ilya and work with him again on our next round of future illustrations and animations." Heather Payne, eNotaryLog (4.7 out of 5).
